At Novum Rentals, we are very clear in our marketing that we do not accept bookings from party groups or same-sex groups of young people. We have strict policies in place to ensure that parties are not allowed in any of our properties and that noise levels are kept to a minimum after 10-11pm out of respect for other guests and neighbors. When reviewing booking requests, we take into consideration previous reviews from other hosts and ask guests about the nature of their group and their purpose for traveling. If we have any concerns, we prioritize the quality of our guests over the quantity of bookings and would rather not accept a booking than risk damage to your property. Our goal is to attract respectful guests, such as families, rather than party groups. We care about your property as if it were our own, and we work hard to ensure that it is well-maintained and respected by all of our guests.
We understand that accidents and wear and tear are sometimes inevitable when renting out homes. However, we do our best to minimize any damage and ensure that guests leave the property in the same condition they found it.
To do this, we use security deposits and inventory lists to track any lost, stolen, or damaged items. If something does go wrong, we ask guests to replace or repair it. We take security deposits for every booking to cover any necessary repairs or replacements. While it is not common for issues to arise due to our careful selection of guests, these measures allow us to effectively manage any potential issues.
